man on stage with award

“I sing in TONEWALL—the a cappella group of the NYC Gay Men’s Chorus, and in 2019 we performed at Carnegie Hall during Pride on the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall riots, telling the story of STONEWALL to a traditional a cappella audience at the AcaOpen finals (national a cappella competition). We didn’t win, but we got to tell our story and we couldn’t have done it without our visionary director, Timorell, who did win an award for Best Arrangement for our set.”
