Across the Pond and Back Again

“The St. Johns tube station was right by our house when we were living in London. We were there for four and half years. I was… How old are you when you’re in 5th grade? 12? Maybe 11?”

- Meg McSherry, interior designer, on her British upbringing

Meg’s parents recently gave her two keepsakes that she’s been waiting to get her hands on since she was a little girl. These watercolor ink prints by artist Pamela Plant hung in their London house when she was growing up. Today, they bring some color and happy memories to her new home on the other side of the pond (the American side).

Now a grown up, Meg remarks, “It was such a huge moment in my life and to have those pieces now in my own home when I’m raising my own family, it’s just really special.”
