Marisa grew up with this Escher print in her childhood home. She recently rescued it from her parents garage and reframed it.

(Don’t worry, it was only a little moth-eaten.)

“My dad bought the print in 1974,” Marisa said. “Even when I was little I always loved the piece. It's the type of artwork that draws you in in a new way each time. There's always a detail to notice that you never saw before.”

“As a kid I used to like laying on my back and shifting my perspective to imagine walking on the ceiling, and this piece always reminded me of that feeling -- the moment when a switch flips and you're able to see something familiar in a new way.”
