Heritage Gallery Wall

“Grandpa Don was a little bit of a pack rat and had a lot of stuff in the house… But Andy remembered how he always had these old license plates in the garage.”

- Rachel Webster, world’s most thoughtful girlfriend

When Rachel and her boyfriend first retrieved the old Indiana license plate from Grandpa Don’s farmhouse after he passed, her first thought was, “now we have this memento, but what are we going to do with it?” She knew she had in her hands a really cool piece of her boyfriend’s personal story and realized it could be even more special if it were surrounded by other key parts of her and her boyfriend’s history, together and apart.

Today their gallery wall includes two pieces of embroidery by Rachel’s grandmother, Grandpa Don’s license plate, and photos from the Rachel and Andy’s travels, but it “definitely has room to grow.” We can’t wait to see how this wall fills out as these two continue to write their history together.
